Furniture Restoration Specialist

Join our dynamic team as a skilled Furniture Restoration Specialist! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to inspect, repair, and restore furniture, ensuring all pieces meet our high-quality standards for customer satisfaction. Pay: $18.00/hour Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Your expertise will be pivotal in inspecting, repairing, and restoring products, including warranty claims and clearance items, efficiently and accurately. Utilize your woodworking, upholstery/leather repair, refinishing, color matching, and part installation skills for priority repairs. Assist with various warehouse tasks such as unloading trucks, prepping, staging, assembling products, loading deliveries, processing recycling, and maintaining an organized workspace. Safely operate tools, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified), adhering to SOPs and OSHA guidelines. Engage in daily team huddles to share updates and collaborate on solutions to any issues that arise. Daily Workflow: Start your day with a morning huddle to prioritize tasks. Dedicate most of your time to repairs and inspections. Conduct a mid-day check-in to review and optimize progress. Wrap up the day with a productive checkout while supporting other tasks as needed. Performance Focus: Strive to balance speed, quality, and safety in all tasks. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. Approach challenges with a proactive and adaptable mindset. What You Bring: Hands-on experience in furniture repair and warehouse operations is preferred. A keen attention to detail, self-motivation, and strong communication skills. The ability to follow instructions and work seamlessly in a team environment. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 100+ lbs (with assistance available). A High School Diploma or GED is required; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
