Your role as a dental hygienist will involve not only performing essential preventive procedures like routine cleanings but also educating our patients on effective oral hygiene. Responsibilities Include: Delivering oral hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and cavity preventative applications such as fluorides and sealants. Accurately documenting patient dental history and periodontal health, maintaining safe handling of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assisting the dentist as needed. Administering local anesthetics, following state dental practice regulations. Qualifications: A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license. CPR/BLS Certification. Proficient time management skills. Excellent verbal communication skills for engaging with patients and staff. Willingness to travel between locations, preferred.
