It is a peaceful, scenic, community-oriented area with an abundance of amenities to suit every taste.JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSScheduled Weekly Hours: 40JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Hospital-Based Services will oversee and direct the practice management support for all of the hospital-based services employed by St. Tammany Physicians Network (STPN). This position will work in collaboration with physician dyad partners, STPN administrative colleagues and the STPN providers to ensure a high performing and efficient practice.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in health-related field required, Master's preferred; 5-years of progressive responsibility and experience in medical practice management with demonstrated success required. Strong provider relation skills along with knowledge and experience in financial management and coding regulations. Strong commitment to teamwork and quality patient care is required.Other necessary skills & abilities:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrategic planning expertiseAbility to work collaboratively and transparently with cross-functional stakeholders across the health system organization in order to deliver resultsStrong project and program management skills; demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional initiativesStrong team leadership, change management, and consensus building skillsComplies with/obeys all health system and departmental policies and proceduresAbility to build trust and consensus, lead change, and activate support among diverse stakeholder groupsHigh tolerance for complex, ambiguous, and constantly changing environmentStrong customer service skills and patient-centered attitudeSuccessful influencer who can effectively interact with diverse groups of stakeholders, including physicians, health care administration, payers, and clinical staffPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must possess good physical health.
