Lab Technician

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSet up test equipment and execute protocols for testing prototype samples.Conduct measurements, record results, and note observations accurately.Assist in determining causes of failures during testing.Create and maintain lab documentation in compliance with GMP.Support prototype assembly and general lab maintenance.Follow all safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.Work overtime as required to meet business needs.Perform other assigned duties as necessary.Experience RequiredMinimum of 4 years of laboratory experience with a high school diplomaOR 1 year of lab experience with an AS degreeOR BS degree in a scientific discipline.Experience following established procedures and GMP standards.Ability to set up and operate laboratory testing equipment.Skills & CertificationsStrong teamwork and communication skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Time management and organizational ability.Ability to follow diagrams and analyze/evaluate charts.Basic arithmetic proficiency.Working knowledge of MS Excel preferred.Eligibilities & qualificationsHigh school diploma + 4 years technical/lab experience, orAssociate degree (AS) + 1 year lab experience, orBachelor's degree (BS) in a scientific/technical discipline.
