As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team and hiring a new Estimator.The RoleWe are seeking an Estimator with construction industry experience to join our in-house team full-time. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who understands building science through hands-on field experience and enjoys collaborating with sales, design, and engineering teams.The Estimator is responsible for reviewing construction documents and developing accurate panel package pricing using EPT products. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing compelling bids and estimates while ensuring project integrity and constructability.This position is on-site in Cottonwood, MN, with little to no travel required. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and building drawingsDetermine if drawings or documentation are missing required informationEngage with customers, architects, engineers, and internal teams to resolve technical or engineering concernsDeconstruct client drawings into component parts required for manufacturingCalculate product quantities, panel layouts, and total project costsResearch and apply current pricing levelsConduct initial customer meetings or estimate reviews as neededCommunicate building and panel technical considerations clearly, both verbally and in writingWork closely with the sales team to deliver estimates, bids, and sales documentationCoordinate with internal team members to transition projects to the design teamMaintain organized project files for multiple concurrent estimatesManage multiple estimates independently within a time-sensitive environmentParticipate in team communication and project integrity reviews Recommended Skills & QualificationsRequired Qualifications Construction industry experience with strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings Experience in construction estimating Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and math aptitude Solid understanding of building science and structural concepts Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred Knowledge & SkillsDegree and/or experience in construction, building science, engineering, architecture, or equivalent field experienceExperience with AutoCAD (preferred, not required)Familiarity with software tools such as Excel, HubSpot, Airtable, Outlook, and construction calculatorsExperienceConstruction experience: 1+ years preferred15 years project coordination or related experienceDegree or background in project management, engineering, construction, drafting, or architecture (preferred but not required) The Ideal Candidate Will: Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders Manage multiple short-term projects simultaneously Exhibit strong work conscientiousness and accuracy with detailed paperwork and drawings Enjoy a balance of independent work and team collaborationBenefitsCompetitive salary401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offEmployee discountProfessional and career development Schedule8-hour shiftOn-site in Cottonwood, MNMust reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting recblid rm6w60ivngwt3fjzhapxmmx2sjn6kl
