Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Cottonwood, CA

A growing retail pharmacy is urgently seeking skilled per diem pharmacists to support busy season demands across multiple Northern California locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute your pharmacy expertise on an as-needed basis.Locations with immediate needs include:Cottonwood, CASacramento area (3-4 pharmacists)Bay Area/North Bay (2 pharmacists)Northern California (Redding, Chico - 2 pharmacists)Key Responsibilities:Providing high-quality retail pharmacy services including dispensing and counselingManaging pharmacy operations such as opening and closing the storeSupervising and collaborating with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflowUtilizing McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) software to manage prescriptions efficientlyQualifications & Experience:At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferredDemonstrated ability to manage pharmacy opening and closing proceduresStrong leadership skills with experience overseeing pharmacy techniciansFlexibility to work various shifts typically 1-2 per week, as coverage is neededWillingness and ability to commute within and between designated locationsAdditional Details:This is a per diem position, ideal for part-time pharmacists seeking to supplement their current scheduleMileage reimbursement provided for travel beyond 30 miles one-wayIf you have a proven track record in retail pharmacy and want to join a responsive, dynamic pharmacy team, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute on a flexible basis.
