Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARYAs the HVAC Project Coordinator , you would be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of a construction project, including ordering material and job site logistics, under the direction of the Project Manager. You will assist in preparation of contracts, negotiating changes with the general contractor, architect, and or engineers, as well as subcontractors, vendors, and clients, to ensure the thorough and complete execution of a construction project. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVESExcellent communication skillsCo-workersManagementBetween DepartmentsClientsVendorsSubcontractorsPlan and organize work to maximize crew productivity by deploying delay-free production practicesParticipate in project design meetings and propose improvements as necessaryPlan and manage team goals, project schedules and new informationManage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and storedDirect project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emailsCommunicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectivesAdhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measuresUnderstand full Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications of the project assignedWork with Project Estimator and project Manager to ensure all material and equipment required to execute the project scope of work is ordered and received on time to execute projects by agreed upon scheduleCoordinate with project management team daily to provide field technicians with any and all missing information and materialEnsure all safety requirements are being met throughout the project, and review as needed with Safety ManagerManage progress and adjust as neededEnsure all activities are completed according to the agreed upon plan and specificationsAccurately report to supervisor hours worked, production, plan discrepancies, and completed quantitiesCreate and submit to Project Manager all Change Orders, RFI's, to ensure project is completed per the agreed upon scope of work and mechanical drawings provided.
