Facilities Project Manager

Duration: 12-month contract with possible ExtensionJob Description:Provide project leadership excellence within a division engineering group that leads Capital projects, facilitybuilding/infrastructure repairs, renovations, and process improvement initiatives (anticipated project size to varybased on portfolio and demand, small to medium scale)Establish overall project requirements and plans, leading the project team from Initial Planning thru Project Closeout following our company PM processes and procedures.Effectively lead, interface and communicate with the division/facility leadership, teams, resources and external EPCM firms Solve technically complex problems within facility equipment, construction and operation areas for WPSResponsibilitiesDeliver strong project leadership thru the project initiation, planning, implementation and closeout phasesDevelop project scopes, estimates, schedules and AR budget documentationDevelop and deliver clear and concise project presentations, such as, business case justifications, project financialsand project status summaries to leadershipExercise sound judgment, solid engineering principles and utilize structured problem-solving techniquesLead, guide, coach & help develop internal functional and project team membersAbility to multitask, lead multiple projects and actively work and participate in project teams in various roles andcapacitiesEffectively listen and communicate utilizing multiple channels and meansExperience: 5 years (minimum) of engineering & professional work experienceExcellent project leadership, presentation, communication, and organizational skillsExcellent soft leadership, interpersonal and team building skillsProject estimating, cost control and scheduling experienceAble to apply project leadership and technical principles to concepts, designs, trouble shooting and solving problemsProblem solving skills and the use of structured methods; such as, PMBOK, K-T (DA, PPA, RA), DESGN & DMAICDesired Skills (These are skills that would be nice for candidates to possess)Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Project (Microsoft software suite)Proficient in SharePoint and collaborative workspace environmentsCompany Capital COE experience and certificationsProfessional Engineering CertificationPMI certificationEquipment installation, commissioning and trouble-shooting experienceFacility design, operations and/or installation experienceEducation: BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalentMS degree preferredAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
