Life Insurance Agent

Our rapidly-expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Responsibilities: • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims • Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies Qualifications: • Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred • Client service experience as a sales representative a plus • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Must live in or near Long Island, Brooklyn, or Queens Compensation: $100,000 yearly at plan• Compensation: $100,000 per year
