Description and RequirementsThe Property & Casualty Practice Leader is a key part of the Leadership Team and is responsible for driving growth by leading a team of brokers/producers for the practice. This role will be responsible for creating a business plan and executing initiatives to include: coaching / development, client retention, recruiting, and driving continuous profitable revenue.Primary Responsibilities:Coach and develop newly hired and seasoned producers/brokers, help close businessDrive revenue and organic growth through client retention and new business developmentPartner with a dedicated local, in-house recruiting team to source, recruit, hire, and train producers/brokers to meet annual hiring targetsPartner with the operations team to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and retentionExecute and lead our core processes and playbook to close new businessLead strategy sessions with resource teams and producers to prepare for prospect and client meetingsAttend prospect and client meetings with producers and resource teamsLead and execute effective sales sessions on a weekly basis for both new and established producers.Create positive synergy within the local office practice to encourage two-way cross-selling with the EB teamAssist in developing sales and marketing strategies along with communications to optimize USI's position in the marketplace.Positively and proactively represent USI in meetings, seminars, trade shows and networking events following USI National Strategy and graphic standards.Develop positive carrier relationshipsDrive utilization and keep current all prospecting and relationship building opportunities within the company's Salesforce CRMKey Performance Metrics:Simple Net New (SNN): New business exceeds lost businessDirect contribution margins (controllable within the practice)Organic revenue growth (net of rate, exposure and acquisitions changes)Execution of USI PlaybookRecruiting, hiring and development of teamRequired Skills:5 -10 + years of commercial insurance brokerage experience3 + years of experience leading and coaching a team of sales professionals within a structured sales environment (preferred)Track record of successful individual P&C broker experienceDeep knowledge and expertise in Property and CasualtyProven track record for meeting or exceeding revenue targetsConsultative, positive and resourceful approach to interacting with prospects, clients and associatesProven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with team members in other practices and at all levels to effectively sell and deliver on client needsAn executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skillsUndergraduate degreeTravel Requirements:Domestic travel to client sites typically within region (10%)USI Insurance Services is an equal opportunity employer.
