Key Responsibilities: Fit, tack, and weld steel parts to create finished sub-assemblies, following blueprints using FCAW & GMAW. Perform welding on steel ranging from thin gauge material to 1" plate. Prepare weld joints by cleaning and setting up surfaces, adjusting machine parameters, and selecting proper welding techniques for each project. Produce high-quality, visually acceptable welds that meet all inspection and quality standards. Safely use and maintain welding equipment, and follow safety rules for overhead cranes, forklifts and other machinery.
