Job Description:
We are seeking a Superintendent to join our Heavy Highway bridge crew and manage on-site construction activities to ensure successful project completion.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality controlCollaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project successEnsure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirementsMonitor and analyze project performance, including cost, schedule, and qualityManage project risks and implement mitigation strategiesProvide leadership and mentorship to site teamsDrive innovation and continuous improvement in site management practicesOther duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational education preferred7+ years of experience in construction and heavy civil industry, including superintendent or foreman experienceExperience working on or managing a bridge crew is preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritiesKnowledge of industry regulations and safety standardsAbility to travel is required for this positionEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
