Candidates will act as Design and Construction Managers reporting to a Program Manager as well as collaborate and assist VA client staff to provide data, generate reports, as a representative for the client on major healthcare construction projects.Who Will Succeed in This RoleThis role is best suited for professionals who:Have supported complex construction projects within healthcare, government, or institutional environmentsAre comfortable analyzing financial, schedule, and compliance data to support program-level decisionsCan operate independently while collaborating effectively with program leadership, clients, and contractorsLeadership: Must possess the skillset and competence to work with and manage personnel of diverse skillsets.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Construction Manager will be a part of a team of professionals and act as the Owner's Representative role on these programs from design through construction and closeout. The Construction Manager will be required to learn and integrate our company's best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality and operations in the healthcare environment. The Construction Manager will act as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The Construction Management services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts. A summary of the major tasks is below.Analyze and monitor project financial data, budget performance, and cost trendsReview construction schedules and support progress and performance evaluationsParticipate in progress meetings and support issue identification and resolutionReview testing, inspection, and quality assurance documentation for complianceSupport claims administration, change management, and contract modificationsReview contractor work documentation and reported progress for conformance with construction documents and approved schedulesPrepare analytical reports, correspondence, and program status documentationMaintain tracking tools and reporting systems supporting program oversightAdvise program leadership on construction administration best practices and compliance considerationsEducation & Experience EducationBachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.ExperienceMinimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in construction administration, construction management, or a closely related fieldExperience supporting regulated environments (federal, healthcare, or institutional) is highly desirableCandidates may be asked to provide examples or documentation of completed projects demonstrating relevant experienceRequirements of local state and federal jurisdiction in relation to the Project.Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and drawings to readily understand and assess requirements.Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes budgeting and scheduling to lead the project's success.Additional RequirementsLicensed Engineer (PE License Required)Familiarity with construction practices, quality assurance, scheduling, cost management, and change managementDemonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in administrative, financial, and compliance mattersProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe AcrobatStrong written, verbal, and organizational communication skillsPreferred QualificationsLeadership: Must possess the ability to collaborate and integrate with other professionalsBuilding construction experienceExperience with Healthcare and Federal projects.CCM, PMP certificationsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsFull-time onsite work at an active construction site and office environmentAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipmentReasonable accommodations will be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable lawsFederal & VA Program RequirementsEmployment may be contingent upon successful completion of background checks and compliance with federal and VA suitability requirementsMust adhere to all site safety, security, and confidentiality policiesBenefits (Full-Time Employees)Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (99% of individual base plan paid by company; 50% for dependents)401(k) with up to 4% company matchPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysAnnual bonus eligibility based on individual and company performanceEqual Opportunity EmployerSIRIS, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and federal contractor.
