Senior / Principal LC-MS Scientist Columbia, Missouri (on-site) Relocation assistance availableWe are searching for a Senior / Principal LC-MS Scientist to join a growing bioanalytical team in Columbia, MO. This is a hands-on role within a GLP-regulated environment, supporting bioanalytical studies from method development through reporting. The team is continuing to build, so this role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their work.What you'll be doingDevelop, validate, and execute LC-MS methods for bioanalytical studiesAnalyze biological samples (plasma, tissue, etc.) using LC-MS/MS systemsInterpret data and prepare clear, accurate reports for clientsParticipate in client communications, including study updates and data discussionsEnsure adherence to GLP standards and regulatory requirementsReview study data and documentation for accuracy and completenessTroubleshoot technical issues and identify opportunities for improvementSupport instrument calibration, maintenance, and optimization (Shimadzu, SCIEX, or similar)Collaborate with internal scientific, regulatory, and operational teamsWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or related fieldNO LESS THAN 3+ years of hands-on LC-MS experience (more for Principal level)Direct experience working in a GLP environment (required)Strong understanding of method development, validation, and sample analysisAbility to manage multiple studies and meet timelinesStrong communication skillsNice to haveExperience in a CRO settingPrior team lead or mentoring experienceExposure to client-facing workExperience with Shimadzu, SCIEX, or similar platformsExperience with Watson or similar systemsAdditional insightThis is not a highly structured, task-by-task role.
