Colorado Springs Radiologists, PC/PENRAD Imaging, LLC currently has a full time Director of Human Resources position available. Summary Description Provides strategic leadership across all HR functions, while also serving as the organization's compliance and privacy officers. This combined role ensures a compliant, high-performing workforce and oversees recruitment, compensation, benefits, annual compliance training and performance management, while also ensuring organizational adherence to HIPAA, federal and state healthcare regulations, and ethical standards. The position plays a critical part in promoting a culture of integrity and ethical behavior across the organization centered on patient care, safety, accountability, and employee well-being. Human Resources Essential Functions Strategic Planning: Develops and implements HR strategies that support clinical excellence, patient experience, healthcare operations and overall organizational goals. Talent Management: Oversees workforce planning, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, development, and retention programs. Compensation & Benefits: Leads compensation and benefit programs; designs and manages competitive salary structures, benefits packages, and payroll. Employee Relations: Handles employee issues, mediates disputes, manages disciplinary actions, and promotes a positive workplace. Compliance & Policy: Fosters a compliance culture, mitigating legal risk by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws and developing policies that comply with healthcare standards. Leadership & Development: Mentors HR and leadership staff, advises senior management, and identifies opportunities for organizational development. Privacy & Compliance Officer Essential Functions Policy & Procedure: Develops, updates, and maintains comprehensive privacy policies, procedures and a corporate compliance program. Compliance Oversight: Monitors industry and regulatory changes affecting compliance practices and advises leadership on updates and operational impacts. Conducts ongoing HIPAA risk assessments, privacy audits, and compliance evaluations across all clinical and administrative departments. Training & Awareness: Develops and delivers organization-wide privacy and compliance training programs for all workforce staff. Incident Response: Manages data breaches and compliance issues, including investigation, mitigation, documentation and required reporting. Liaison: Serves as primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, overseeing investigations into potential privacy incidents or compliance violations. Documentation: Ensures maintenance of records of policies, training, incidents, risk assessments, and business agreements. Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field; Master's or advanced healthcare degree preferred. HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or SPHR) strongly preferred. Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US, CIPM, CHPC or equivalent) certifications strongly preferred. Requires 8-10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including experience in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to handle sensitive information and complex employee matters with tact and discretion.
