Assistant Harbormaster Part-time, seasonal $17.98- $21.50 per hour. The Town of Cohasset is seeking a dependable and service-oriented individual to serve as a seasonal part-time Assistant Harbormaster. This role supports a variety of harbor operations and public service functions to help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming waterfront community. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills when interacting with the public, harbor guests, and residents, and the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced marine environment, and preferably know local boating rules and regulations. However, training will be provided for applicants eager to learn and develop hands-on skills in boat handling, line management, and marine equipment operations. Key Responsibilities: Handle boats, lines, and marine equipment & general maintenance tasks around the harbor. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 17 years old. Must have CPR Certification and a boating safety certificate. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience. Compensation & Benefits: This is a part-time seasonal position classified as Grade PT-3-PT-4 with a rate of $17.98- $21.50 per hour.
