Job DescriptionDivision/Department: Fond du Lac Cannabis Corp. Location: Fond du Lac Dispensary / Gas & Grocery campus - Onsite Reports To: Cannabis Dispensary Manager Probationary Period: 90 days- Full time 120 days- Part Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Classification: Non-Child-Related NA Driver's License: Level 0- No Driver's License required. Rate of Pay: $18.95 - $21.32 Responsibilities Maintains a safe and secure environment within and around the dispensary facility. Checks identifications and guides customers from the lobby area to the secure sales floor. Make regular examinations and security assessments of the facilities and surrounding areas. Patrols the building and grounds as needed. Watches and reports irregularities such as loitering, carrying forbidden articles, and smoking in unauthorized areas by calling proper authorities, and doing a written report of the violations observed. Provide security at major functions. Sounds alarm or 911 in case of emergency or the presence of unauthorized person or persons. Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and/or malfunctions of machinery or equipment, keeps daily logs and completes incident reports daily. Enforces all company policies and procedures; federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Ensures compliance with cash handling procedures. Appropriate work attire is required. Must attend all mandatory department trainings. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary. Some travel may be required. Qualifications No Driver's License required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous security experience preferred. First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required. The ability to work independently and establish priorities is required. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved. Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Employment Handbook. Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks. Some travel may be required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying up to 45 pounds. Walking, standing, climbing, pushing and pulling are required. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time is required. Ability to work in-store and office with fluorescent and other lighting exposure.
