A locum tenens opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency and Trauma physician in a hospital setting.You will provide solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts, managing an annual patient volume of 32,000.Engage in a dynamic environment with support from mid-level medical staff and take advantage of flexible scheduling options.Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: Specific dates in July (Tuesday, July 21st-Tuesday, July 28th)- Schedule: 12-hour Shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)- Patient Population: All Ages- Location: Clinton, NC- Stipends: Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments; Travel costs capped at $500 for non-local candidates Benefits- Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Job Responsibilities- Provide emergency and trauma care in a hospital alongside mid-level staff- Manage patient flow and ensure high standards of care- Utilize Meditech 6.1 for electronic medical records Qualifications- xijylhu Board Certified in Emergency Medicine- NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS- Experience with managing high patient volumes Working Hours- 12-hour shifts- Days and nights rotating schedule Skills- Strong communication and leadership skills- Proficiency in emergency medicine and trauma care- Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations
