Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Description: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Join a dedicated team at a full-service community health system located in Clinton, Iowa. This facility serves counties in eastern Iowa and western Illinois, focusing on compassion, human dignity, and social justice. As a CRNA, you will be integral in providing anesthesiology services to a diverse patient population. Job Responsibilities: Provide professional anesthesiology services for adult and pediatric patients. Directly manage and supervise anesthesiology services in a timely manner, providing scheduled and on call coverage. Administer general and regional anesthesia, intravenous sedation, and other anesthetic procedures as required. Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications. Collaborate with the OR Leadership Team and clinical staff to ensure high standards of care. Maintain a presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring to motivate others within the team. Respond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies, following current medical standards. Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation. Qualifications: Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA). Iowa license or be willing to obtain an IMLC. Preferred: Minimum of 5 years of CRNA work experience. Experience with pediatric and adult anesthesia procedures is required. BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire). ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire). Preferred: Clean malpractice history.
