Overview:As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert dermatological assessments, treatments, and patient education. Based primarily at Clifton Springs with potential support to RGH Genesee Valley Dermatology from July to January, you will manage a patient load of 25-35 per day, requiring efficient, expert care. You will collaborate with support staff and physicians, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in scheduling and a supportive team environment make this an excellent opportunity for experienced practitioners looking to make a meaningful impact. Required Skills: Current NY Nurse Practitioner license in handBoard certification in dermatology or related specialtyRecent EPIC electronic medical record experienceMinimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in dermatology or a comparable settingDemonstrated ability to manage a patient load of 25-35 patients dailyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamKnowledge of dermatological procedures and treatmentsCurrent BLS certificationNice to Have Skills: Experience supporting dermatology clinics in a fast-paced environmentAdditional certifications in dermatology or related fieldsExperience with practice management software beyond EPICMultilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populationsPreferred Education and Experience: Master s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)At least 3 years of recent dermatology outpatient experienceProven track record of managing dermatology patient panels efficientlyOther Requirements: Ability to work flexible scheduling within standard daytime hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)Reliable means of communication including email and phone contactMust provide a physician statement if prior malpractice involvement exists, whether dismissed or activeTravel or licensure reimbursements applicable when relevantThis is an excellent opportunity for experienced dermatology Nurse Practitioners to advance their careers in a supportive, well-respected environment.
