The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, proactive professional who excels in managing complex logistics, prioritizing competing demands, and operating independently in a fast-paced environment.This role requires a polished, high-performing Executive Legal Assistant who thrives in supporting an exceptionally busy attorney, demonstrates sound judgment, is proactive, and consistently delivers work at the highest level of quality and professionalism.Qualified candidates will haveExpert-level calendar management, including the proactive coordination of meetings and detailed travel logistics.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities with keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF tools (Kofax), including complex document formatting.Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments) and time entry systems (e.g., Aderant).Proven ability to execute with precision, sound judgment, and the utmost discretion in handling highly confidential matters.Legal support duties include but are not limited to drafting, revising, and formatting correspondence and legal documents; managing attorney time entry; preparing and submitting expense reports; coordinating complex travel; processing new business intake requests; conducting document comparisons; generating tables of contents; assisting with client billing (including proofreading and editing); and collaborating effectively with attorneys, staff, and other departments.Success in this role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs, manage shifting priorities, and consistently deliver under pressure.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ten (10)+ years of experience in executive and/or legal support roles, including at least five (5) years supporting senior executives (C-suite or equivalent) within a professional services environment (e.g., law firm, accounting firm, financial institution, or Fortune 500 company).Advanced document formatting expertise, including styles, numbering, and complex document structuring.Superior grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong critical thinking abilities.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-demand environment.High school diploma or equivalent.
