Baptist Health is seeking to add a Registered Respiratory Therapist to our Clay location in Fleming Island. This is a full-time night shift opportunity.At Baptist Health, a Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory or breathing disorders. This role involves administering respiratory therapy treatments, performing diagnostic pulmonary function tests, managing and monitoring mechanical ventilators, and providing patient education and respiratory care support. The Respiratory Therapist collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disordersAdministering respiratory therapiesPerforming and interpreting diagnostic testsMonitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory supportCollaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plansProviding patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changesMaintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentationEducation & Credential Requirements: Education/Degree Required:CertificateDegree Preferred:Associate of ScienceIf you are interested in this full-time night shift opportunity, please apply now or contact [email protected] Location:Clay - Emergency Department
