Ensuring critical communications and business continuity never skips a beat, Rescue 42 manufactures Network System Deployables to provide Wi-Fi hotspot and cellular connectivity when & where it's needed.About the RoleThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading all procurement and inventory management functions to support operational efficiency and business objectives. This position is a part of the Leadership Team and will be a key contributor in strategically working towards the short and long-term growth and sustainability of Rescue 42. These responsibilities include overseeing sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing strategy while ensuring compliance, cost control, and timely delivery of materials. The Supply Chain Manager partners cross-functionally to align supply chain activities with production schedules, demand forecasts, and company growth initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLeads, develops, and manages purchasing and procurement activities including supervision of team membersDevelop and execute strategic sourcing and purchasing initiatives across multiple spend categoriesEstablish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and internal controlsNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve optimal cost and service outcomesIdentify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendorsMonitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks to inform purchasing decisions, including tariffs if applicablePerform cost analysis, scenario planning, and benchmarking to support financial objectivesForecast demand and ensure appropriate inventory levels to meet production and customer needsManage and improve lead times, expedite critical materials, and resolve supply disruptionsDirect coordination of incoming materials to meet operational requirementsManage non-conforming goods, returns, and corrective actions with suppliersTrack and report key performance metrics to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support decision-makingPartner with production, engineering, sales, and accounting teams to align supply chain activities with business needsEnsure ERP system accuracy for inventory, purchasing, and material status trackingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field5 years procurement and logistics experience including at least 2 years in a leadership or people management roleRequired SkillsStrong sourcing and vendor management experienceStrong working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to gather and analyze data and to work with figuresSolid judgment along with decision-making skillsWorking knowledge of manufacturing processesPossess strong phone, written, and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in a fast-paced environmentExcellent multi-tasking and project management experienceWell-organized with high attention to detail for data entry and accurate record keepingProficiency with MS Office, Teams, Fishbowl and SalesforcePreferred SkillsExperience in manufacturing environmentExperience with international sourcing and logisticsProfessional certification (e.g., APICS, CPSM)Equal Opportunity StatementThe Company is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable laws.
