Our client, an industry leader in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking a Controls Coordinator to join their team. As a Controls Coordinator you will be part of the Plant Operations team supporting compliance controls, audit readiness, and processes integrity assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Plant Operations Controls Coordinator Location:Chicago, IL Pay Rate:$40 What's the Job? Support all associated plant control activities to include audit planning, controls training, access reviews, document management Coordinate compliance controls and integrity management activities to ensure plant operations are within set guidelines/processes Support reporting on Business control KPIs, irregularity logs, and control activities. Support scheduling and audit readiness activities, which may include maintenance, external audits Act as a Steward for plant practices, escalating deviations to appropriate staff Assist in managing controls documentation, to include inventory, and equipment lists, ensuring plant requirements and data integrity Maintain plant's calendar for associated maintenance activities Oversee records management, document review, and contract administration processes. Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to policies, standards, and procedures. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Economics, or a related field. 5 years experience in auditing, compliance, and controls with a focus on record management and data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work effectively within a diverse, multi-cultural team environment. Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Microsoft Access is desirable. What's in it for me?
