Position SummaryThe Senior Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience. This position is responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS management, reporting, and serving as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple HR functions with a strong understanding of compliance and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll AdministrationProcess bi-weekly payroll using UKG, ensuring accuracy and timelinessAdminister monthly bonus payouts, including validation and proper taxationManage employee garnishments, deductions, and related data entryAudit payroll data regularly to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsPartner with Finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper reportingBenefits AdministrationCoordinate and process monthly benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations with carriersEnsure accurate integration of benefits data into payroll systemsServe as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiriesAssist with open enrollment and benefits communicationsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsHRIS AdministrationMaintain and update employee data within HRIS (UKG), including hires, changes, and terminationsEnsure data integrity and accuracy across all HR systemsGenerate and analyze HRIS data as needed for reporting and auditsSupport system improvements, implementations, and process enhancementsReporting & CompliancePrepare and deliver monthly and quarterly internal HR reportsEnsure accurate and timely completion of required state and federal reportingMaintain compliance with all applicable labor laws and reporting requirementsSupport audits and provide documentation as neededEmployee Relations & HR SupportServe as the first point of contact for employee and manager inquiriesProvide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practicesAdminister and support the company's corrective action and disciplinary processesEscalate complex employee relations issues as appropriatePromote a positive and compliant workplace environmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3-5 years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and benefits administrationHands-on experience with UKG (or similar HRIS/payroll systems) strongly preferredHR certification preferredStrong knowledge of payroll practices, employment laws, and HR complianceExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentialityStrong communication and interpersonal skills
