A Day in The Life Of A Waste Connections Recruiting New Hire Specialist:We are a busy, high-energy company so your time will be spent assisting the Recruiting team with the hiring process.Your relationships with the recruiters you support is crucial. Expect daily communication with them as you are their partner to ensure candidates have a positive experience during the offer process.We are looking for someone who is motivated for growth, and desires opportunities for advancement within the recruiting department. Responsibilities:Assists field recruiters on the backend hiring process including preparing offer letters, initiating pre-employment background checks, initiating pre-employment drug test, MVR and DOT applicationEffectively track executed offer letters and manually upload into applicant tracking systemAppropriately and accurately track candidate progress from offer to start dateConsistent follow up/follow through to ensure a positive candidate experienceLiaison between candidate and third-party systemsAssist with Indeed job postings, and assist with virtual interviewsOccasionally assist recruiters in scheduling face to face interviews with fieldProvide daily updates to recruiters to ensure candidates are moving through the process in a timely mannerRequirements:College degree preferred1+ years of experience in a Recruiting or HR Coordinator positionFamiliarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systemsAbility to self-monitor; meet recruiting deadlines and work with little supervision in a fast-paced, high activity environment and with a positive attitudeStrong organizational and time management skills with a natural ability to manage competing prioritiesGreat attention to detailMotivated for growth opportunities, preferred.What you’ll get from us:Competitive Compensation401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your futureHealthcare; Medical, Dental, VisionPerks, perks, perks!  Employee Assistance Mental Health Program, Emergency Travel Assistance, Prepaid Legal Plan, Scholarship Opportunities for kids, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Relief FundInsurance: Life, Short Term/Long Term DisabilityWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
