Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Charlotte, North Carolina

A community health clinic in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a PRN Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage during call-offs, PTO, and vacations. This role offers an opportunity to work in an Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, serving an underserved patient population with a focus on patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Provide pharmacist coverage approximately two shifts per month, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (no weekends) Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on medication usage Collaborate with healthcare team members in a 1 Pharmacist/1 Technician setting Utilize PioneerRx system for prescription processing and management Support medication therapy management and ensure compliance with FQHC and 340B program regulations Qualifications: Current North Carolina Pharmacist license (required) 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in an FQHC or similar setting Comfortable working independently in a small team environment Experience serving underserved populations is preferred Spanish language skills are a plus; the pharmacy technician speaks Spanish, so bilingual pharmacists are highly valued This position is an excellent fit for pharmacists who are adaptable, patient-focused, and interested in making a positive impact in a community health setting.
