Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Magnet Medical Pay: $1,796 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Magnet Medical to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28201!The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med-Surg unit is responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, assisting with the recovery of patients who require medical and surgical interventions. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients across a variety of diagnoses and procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being during their hospital stay./n/nKey Responsibilities:/n/n/nPatient Assessment:/n/nConduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs./nDevelop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessment and physician orders./n/n/n/nPatient Care:/n/nAdminister medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols./nMonitor patient vital signs, lab results, and clinical progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans./nAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition./nProvide pre- and post-operative care and educate patients on procedures, medication, and recovery plans./n/n/n/nCollaboration:/n/nWork closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes./nCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding the plan of care and any changes in condition./n/n/n/nPatient Education:/n/nEducate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans./nProvide instructions on medication management, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care./n/n/n/nDocumentation:/n/nAccurately document patient assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes in the medical record./nEnsure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements./n/n/n/nSafety & Infection Control:/n/nAdhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure a safe environment./nRespond quickly to changes in patient conditions, such as emergencies or complications./n/n/n/nSupervision & Mentorship (if applicable):/n/nAssist in mentoring new staff or nursing students and provide guidance as needed./nServe as a resource for junior nursing staff in clinical decision-making./n/n/n About Magnet Medical We are new and nimble!
