Ref #: M-RN-293363We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team in Chariton, IA on a contract/travel basis. This is a night-focused role covering Friday through Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with a pay rate of $2,052 for 36 hours. Start date is ASAP.What you'll bring:Active RN license in the state where you'll practice.Emergency room experience is ideal; strong acute care background is also welcome.Solid clinical skills, sharp critical thinking, and clear communication.BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred.What you'll do day-to-day:Quickly triage and assess patients as they arrive and prioritize care.Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions when needed.Continuously monitor patients and notify physicians and the team about changes in condition.Keep clear, accurate documentation of care and patient records.Teach patients and families about their treatment and follow-up plans.Help drive quality improvement and safety efforts within the ER.If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy making an immediate difference in patient care, this shift could be a great fit.
