Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Application Tester with Security Clearance

About This RoleWe're seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Application Tester for the PDB Mobility program. You'll provide independent testing services throughout the development lifecycle for Intelligence Production Systems Applications and Services. The PDB Mobility Program supports the full intelligence production pipeline — from drafting and collaboration to dissemination and conveyance to policy makers. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of applications that support mission-critical operations. Compensation$150,000 - $250,000 (depending on experience) Security Clearance RequiredTS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Key ResponsibilitiesPerform independent testing services continuously throughout the development lifecycleDesign and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing applicationsConduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testingTest mobile applications built for iOS using Apple ecosystem tools (Xcode, Swift, SwiftUI)Validate applications supporting intelligence production, collaboration, dissemination, and conveyance workflowsIdentify, document, and track defects through resolutionCollaborate with development teams within Agile sprints to ensure quality standards are metLeverage enterprise SecDevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins) for automated testing and CI/CD integrationConduct maintenance testing on existing infrastructure and applicationsProvide test status reporting and quality metrics to stakeholders RequirementsActive TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope PolygraphExperience with Agile development methodologyExperience with testing of new applications across the full development lifecycleExperience performing independent testing services continuously throughout the development lifecycleExperience with enterprise SecDevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins)Experience ensuring that software development encompasses unit/integration testing, user acceptance testing, and coordination of system changesFamiliarity with application development in Ruby, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, C/Objective C, R, and/or PythonExperience with mobile application testing, especially under iOS or the Apple ecosystem Preferred QualificationsExperience with automated testing tools and frameworksExperience with performance and load testingExperience supporting Intelligence Community clientsKnowledge of information security testing practicesExperience with test management and defect tracking toolsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS)ISTQB or similar software testing certificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) What We OfferCompetitive salary: $150,000 - $250,000 (based on experience)6% 401(k) match + 4% annual profit sharingComprehensive health insurance25 days PTO + 11 federal holidaysMission-critical work supporting national securityOnsite at client location in Chantilly/McLean, VACollaborative, mission-driven team cultureDirect impact on national security operationsSmall company environment with significant growth potential
