Entry Level Technician - Hyperscale Data Center Project (Fiber + Copper)NOVA | Data Center | Guaranteed 40 Hours | Big Project PipelineReady to take your cabling skills into one of the fastest-growing environments in the industry?We're hiring entry level Cable Technicians to support a massive ISP/OSP ramp-up for a brand-new hyperscale data center build.If you have strong hands-on experience - this is where you thrive.What You'll Be Doing (Onsite Responsibilities)You'll be part of a high-performing field team completing end-to-end cabling work inside a large data center environment:Fiber & Copper InstallationPull high volumes of fiber in data hall and riser environmentsPerform fiber and copper terminations (Cat5/Cat6, LC, SC, etc.)Set up, dress, and manage cable pathways with clean, consistent workmanshipTesting & Quality AssuranceUse Fluke testers (fiber & copper)Verify labeling, patch panel labeling, termination accuracy, and cable dressingTroubleshoot opens, shorts, miswires, and link failuresInfrastructure Build-OutInstall J-hooks, ladder rack, cable tray, fiber runner, and support structuresGround and bond equipment as requiredAssist with rack & stack, equipment mounting, and pathway installationTeamwork & Leadership on SiteWork both independently and with a structured crewCommunicate with supervisors and escalate when neededHelp keep pace with project timelines and ensure safe work practicesContribute to a positive team environment, especially in a hot, high-volume data center settingWhat You'll LearnWe're looking for techs who can handle the intensity of a hyperscale build and deliver clean work.Cat5/Cat6 install & crimpingBasic troubleshootingExperience in live data centersUnderstanding of QA best practicesWork EnvironmentThis is a high-energy, high-output construction-style data center environment:Indoor & outdoor workNew build data center - hot, no AC, lots of walkingLadder & lift work (heights involved)Hauling materials long distancesWhy This Role MattersWith massive ISP/OSP expansion underway, skilled technicians are needed to keep the project on track and ensure all fiber/copper systems are installed safely, correctly, and efficiently.Your work directly impacts how fast this new hyperscale data center goes live.?
