We are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support the dental team in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Schedule: Part Time, Monday and Wednesday 7am-4pm ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, polishing, and root planing as neededTake and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)Conduct oral health assessments and chart conditions of teeth and gumsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive carePrepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocolsAssist the dentist during exams and procedures as needed Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental recordMonitor and maintain hygiene supplies and equipmentEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standardsPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assigned QualificationsRequirements Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practiceAssociate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited programPreferred SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGentle and compassionate chairside mannerProficiency with dental software and digital chartingAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamAttention to detail and commitment to delivering quality careFamiliarity with common dental procedures and patient education techniquesSpecialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies andindependently owned supported clinical practicesare proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
