Coverage needed is for 1-2 weeks per month with weekend support, including weekends and nights as required. Census averages 25-35 patients per day. The patient population is 18 years and older. This position involves working in a Non-Invasive Cardiology department. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. The facility has 265 hospital beds. Special procedures include stress testing, TEE, and cardioversions. Skills required include reading of studies such as echocardiograms, Holters, stress tests (including nuclear), EKGs, and performing consults. The practice setting is within a hospital environment. Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days for a clean file with temporary privileges available for urgent needs. Candidates must hold active licensure in their state of residence as well as the state where services are provided. All active licenses will be verified.
