Project Manager - Pool Construction

Robert Half is assisting a successful Outdoor Design company in hiring a Project Manager in the Central Islip area. We are looking for someone with Construction Project Management experience preferably in Residential and Commercial projects-- outdoor design projects would be ideal (i.e., Pools, Hardscape, Landscaping).Apply to this post for consideration!Main Responsibilities: Create and manage comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and resource allocationsDirect and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and onsite crews to ensure quality standards and deadlines are metAct as the main client liaison, establishing expectations and providing consistent, proactive project updatesPerform routine site inspections to monitor workmanship, safety requirements, and schedule progressReview, approve, and track material purchases, change orders, and vendor invoicesProactively identify and address project challenges, delays, or conflicts to prevent escalationEnsure all project activities comply with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and internal safety policiesLead and support Site Supervisors and field personnel through clear direction and accountabilityMaintain thorough and accurate project records, including daily reports, photos, permits, and closeout documentationRequired:Project management experience within pool construction, landscaping, general contracting, or similarOSHA 30 certified (can obtain it within 90 days)Proven ability to oversee multiple projects at the same timeStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication skills with a strong client-service focusPreferred:Familiarity with local permitting processes and municipal inspectionsWorking knowledge of plumbing and electricalBenefits:401k - company contributionMedical, Dental, Vision plansPaid time offProfit SharingMerit BonusesCompany vehicle/allowance, phone, and laptop provided
