A skilled professional with expertise in CT imaging is needed for a contract position in Center, CO. This role involves operating computerized tomography equipment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety with radiation protection techniques. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Completed formal radiological technologist training from an AMA-approved program Current ARRT registration required Minimum 6 months of experience in Computerized Tomography with CT certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current MRI certification preferred but not mandatory Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures using prescribed techniques, including equipment adjustment and patient positioning Clean and maintain x-ray rooms and imaging equipment regularly Complete quality control tasks and maintain related reports Handle general administrative duties such as scheduling and patient communication as necessary Assist with diagnostic testing and routine equipment maintenance Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff Location: Situated in the picturesque San Luis Valley, the Center, CO region offers a rural setting with close-knit community feel.
