DescriptionRegistered Dietitian Full-time Day Shift Mon-Fri APPLY TODAY We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian with good interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in helping our elderly individuals at our Skilled Long-term Care facility located in Cedartown, Georgia.Registered Dietitian Position Overview:As the Registered Dietitian, you will oversee the nutritional well-being of our residents. Conduct nutrition assessments, identifying residents' nutritional needs and creating effective diet plans.Registered Dietitian Key DutiesAssess and monitors the Resident's nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans.Evaluate the special needs of Residents regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident's care plans.Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.Perform other job-related duties as they become required.Registered Dietitian QualificationsOne year of experience with Seniors as a Registered Dietitian in Long-Term Care, Hospital or healthcare setting, preferred.Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Nutrition or Dietetics, or equivalent field. Completion of the accredited Dietetic Internship program.Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and the survey process.Certification and or Licensure State of Georgia.
