Bartender Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.BartenderLocation: Cashiers, NC, 28717Reports to: Clubhouse ManagerClassification: Non-ExemptEssential Function:The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to members and guests, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served.ResponsibilitiesInspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are at hand.Request additional supplies as necessary.Stock the bar with necessities for hours of operation.Prepare, mix, and garnish mixed drinks.Greet members and guests.Mix, prepare, and serve drinks to members and guests ordered by food servers and beverage servers according to recipes approved by beverage managers.Maintain the bar and ensure it is clean and organized.Ensure that members and guests are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.Collect payments and process them accurately.Use proper judgement and, when necessary, refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.Submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications / ExperienceAt least 1-2 years of bartending experience is preferred.Knowledge of drink preparation or service.Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on customer service.Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly members or guests.Ability to learn Point of Sales (POS) systems.Prolonged periods of standing and preparing drinks.Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately. xijylhu Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.Must be of legal drinking age.General Sign-offThe employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and act as a role model in adherence to policies.Compensation details: 15-17 Hourly WagePI7c4afc4
