Job Description We Deliver the Goods: * Competitive pay and benefits, including Day 1 Health & Wellness Benefits, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K Employer Matching, Education Assistance, Paid Time Off, and much more * Growth opportunities performing essential work to support America's food distribution system * Safe and inclusive working environment, including culture of rewards, recognition, and respect Position Details: * Pay: $23/hr. * 4-5 days a week; Monday-Friday * 3:00-5:00 AM Start Time; 8-14 hours per day * Overnight stays needed up to 2X/week Position Purpose: * Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. * Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers! * As a Driver Helper, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers. Primary Responsibilities: * The Driver Helper rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. * Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. * Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: * Assist the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers using a dolly, scanning product, customer service and clearing out trailer at end of route * Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles * Places products in areas identified by customers. * Completes required documentation in a timely manner. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent * 6+ months in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry Preferred Qualifications * 1+ years in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry * Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
