Lead Material HandlerSummaryWoojin IS America (WISA) is seeking a detail-oriented Lead Material Handler to support inventory control and material flow for rail project operations. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and delivered to production in a timely manner. This is a hands-on position that combines physical material handling with inventory tracking and coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentationStore materials in designated locations following company procedures and inventory controlsPick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas in alignment with schedulesPerform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory recordsIdentify, investigate, and report inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate data in inventory or ERP systemsAssist with shipping activities, including packaging and preparation of documentationMaintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse and storage areasFollow all company safety policies and proceduresIssuing and receiving tools to/from employeesTracking tool check-in/check-out (log sheets or system)Maintaining tool inventory and storage organizationPerforming periodic tool counts or auditsReporting lost, damaged, or missing toolsCoordinating tool availability for production needsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1-3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferredBasic computer skills; experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized proceduresAbility to communicate effectively with team members and supervisorsBilingual English/Korean a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsAbility to work in a warehouse and production environmentWork Environment & ScheduleOn-site position, 5 days per weekLocation: Carson, CaliforniaCompensation$24.00 - $28.00 per hourFinal compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualificationsBenefits(customize if applicable)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysEqual Employment Opportunity StatementWoojin IS America is an equal opportunity employer.
