Inbound Logistics Transportation Specialist (Bilingual KOR/ENG)

Inbound Logistics Transportation Specialist is responsible for scheduling and dispatching containers for ALL regional warehouses in the U.S. They determine container movement and maintain continuous communication with freight forwarders, trucking partners, warehouse operations teams, and 3rd party warehouse, making decisions based on factors such as cost efficiency and store inventory needs.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with the freight forwarder and prepare for Air/Ocean Freight scheduleDetermine if genset attachment is necessary for RF containersPerform the regular RFPs for drayage serviceManage and update Unloading Priority ListCommunicate with truckers, warehouse, and 3rd Party warehouseFollow up FDA release and return the empty containers.Track all inbound container movementPrepare for the payment of AR/AP, and claim reportAnalyze Demurrage & Detention fee and report to the upper managementMonthly Ocean Freight ListEducation and Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business AdministrationProficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.Proficiency in accurately entering and managing data and maintaining organized recordsIn-depth knowledge of logistics, operations, food regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirementsBilingual - Korean and English is preferred3+ year work experience preferred in Operation/Distributions/logistics/transportation industry, and RFP experience will be plusBenefits:Health, Dental & Vision insurance / EAP (Employee Assistance Program) per company policy401 (k) Retirement Plan with up to 5% match per company policyLife Insurance and AD&D (Accidental death & Dismemberment) per company policyBTA Insurance (Business Travel Accident Coverage)Company provided lunchPaid-time off (PTO) and Paid Holidays per company policyCelebration & Condolence Benefits per company policyEmployee Discount Program (5%)Holiday Gift certificates per company policyFSA (Flexible Spending Account) per company policyDCFSA (Dependent Child Care Spending Account) per company policyWork Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday ~ FridaySalary Range: $58,800 ~ $112,400 Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
