Job Description:
A healthcare opportunity is available for an Imaging Specialist with expertise in CT technology, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. This contract position involves call duties up to 10 days per month, distributed evenly among the team and never exceeding 10 days for any individual. The role requires certification and offers the chance to work within a well-established healthcare system known for its commitment to employee development and patient care excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI procedures with accuracy and attention to patient care Utilize the PACS system to manage and archive imaging results effectively Assist with clerical and office tasks to support smooth department operations Coordinate with Radiologists to confirm MRI schedules and scan protocols Maintain competency in IV/Contrast administration Qualifications and Desired Experience: Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification ARRT Certification in Radiology and MRI IEMA Licensure CPR certification Preferred minimum of 1 year of technical experience in imaging AMT or ASCP certification is required Experience with EPIC or Safe Trace systems is a plus but not mandatory Location and Environment: Located in a vibrant community offering a mix of cultural and outdoor activities, Carbondale, IL, provides a welcoming environment both professionally and personally. Parking is convenient, available behind the hospital or at the south entrance. The dress code requires solid color scrubs without specific color restrictions.
