This is a non-instructional position for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position requires approximately 15 hours per week in the afternoon. As an aftercare assistant, you will assist in the supervision of students in grades Pk3-8 in the school's aftercare program.Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise students during all after-school activitiesAbility to work with various age/grade groupsAids students with homeworkImplements age-appropriate activitiesMonitors safety for students alwaysAccompanies younger students to the restroomMaintains discipline and decorumMaintains a clean and organized classroomOther duties as assigned. High School diploma or equivalent Excellent communications skillsExcellent organizational skillsPrevious childcare experience preferredMaintain a calm nature in a sometimes-chaotic environment
