Pharmacy Manager - Canton, NY

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations in Ogdensburg, NY. This role offers flexibility with openings for either an interim position lasting 3-6 months or a permanent placement. The right candidate will oversee all aspects of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while driving financial and operational success. Location: Ogdensburg, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Closed Sundays Key Responsibilities: Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board. Manage the entire pharmacy department, including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to promote financial viability. Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and company policies and regulations. Lead and mentor pharmacy support staff, conducting performance reviews and overseeing training compliance. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs. Counsel patients and providers on medication usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects, optimizing patient therapies. Maintain quality improvement initiatives and uphold a clean and organized pharmacy environment. Complete all required continuing education and company training. Qualifications: Valid New York State Pharmacy License. Immunization Certification (Required) with confidence to administer all vaccines. Recent Pharmacy Manager experience is preferred.
