About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histotechnologist (Histotech) to join a high-volume hospital-based pathology laboratory. This role supports diagnostic services by preparing high-quality tissue specimens for microscopic examination. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process tissue specimens for routine and special histology procedures Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and coverslipping Ensure proper fixation, processing, and handling of specimens Maintain quality control and ensure accuracy of all histology work Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Follow laboratory safety, compliance, and regulatory standards Document procedures and results accurately Collaborate with pathologists, lab staff, and clinical teams Maintain organized workflow to meet turnaround time expectations Qualifications Associates or Bachelor s degree in Histotechnology or related field HT or HTL certification (ASCP) preferred Prior experience in a clinical or hospital histology lab preferred Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
