Position Description: Culver-Stockton College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month tenure-track position beginning in August 2026. Ability to teach a broad range of courses including Medical-Surgical, Health Assessment, maternal and Child Care, and Leadership in Nursing. This position includes face-to-face, hybrid, and online teaching requirements. Clinical supervision, evaluation and coordination of students in the clinical setting are included in this position. Responsibilities: * Responsible for teaching undergraduate classes in all course formats in the major as needed. * Responsible for developing course work and materials as needed. * Assist with coordination of clinical practicums including student supervision and evaluation. * Participate in departmental, college-wide, and community service activities. * Advise and mentor students on academic and career development. * Assist with recruitment efforts for students. * Engage in scholarly activities or professional practice. * Contribute to the ongoing growth of the School of Nursing through curriculum development, assessment activities, and accreditation efforts. * Must have the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education. * Assist with assurance of compliance with state regulations and program accreditation status. Qualifications: * Master's degree in Nursing from a regionally or nationally accredited institution. Doctorate preferred. * Three to five years of experience in teaching Nursing courses and coordinating clinical experiences at the undergraduate level. * Two to three years of clinical experience. * Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues from a variety of backgrounds. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Understand and demonstrate a general proficiency with online course management systems.
