Immediate need for a talented Pharmacy Tech. This is a 03 month Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Canton, GA(Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, Sign- on Bonus, Reallocation Bonus and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)Schedule: Monday - FridayAssist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician ordersPerform chemotherapy and hazardous drug compounding in compliance with safety protocolsPrepare and mix IV medications accuratelyHandle, package, and deliver pharmaceuticals to appropriate departmentsMaintain inventory, including controlled substances and oncology medicationsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and sterile compounding proceduresSupport multiple pharmacy operations such as production, distribution, and inventory managementProvide patient care support across all age groups (neonate to geriatric)Maintain accurate documentation and medication recordsKey Requirements and Technology Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experienceRequired experience in:Hazardous drug handlingChemotherapy compounding (oncology setting preferred)IV mixingActive Pharmacy Technician registration in the State of Georgia (required)Experience in oncology or infusion center settingsKnowledge of sterile compounding and USP guidelinesAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentStrong attention to detail and patient safetyOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
