Job Description Join a leading national food manufacturer as a Quality & Food Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in ensuring that our production processes adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. You will develop and implement programs that enhance our Quality, Food Safety, Sanitation, and Regulatory compliance, all while fostering a culture centered on food safety. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Quality & Food Safety department, overseeing daily operations and strategic planning while developing the team. Create, implement, and maintain food safety and quality policies, procedures, and programs. Act as the SQF Practitioner, PCQI, and HACCP Coordinator. Oversee SQF certification efforts and lead all food safety and third-party audits. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory and certification bodies such as SQF, FSMA, GFCO, Kosher, GFFP, etc. Develop and annually validate SQF and HACCP programs. Lead environmental monitoring and laboratory testing programs, including Listeria, Salmonella, compressed air quality, and microbial testing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions across departments. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Warehousing, Transportation, and NPD to embed food safety into all processes and equipment. Investigate customer complaints and ensure that corrective actions are effectively implemented and documented. Coach and develop your Quality & Food Safety team members. Support commissioning, qualification, and verification (CQV) for new equipment, processes, and products. Maintain compliance with FSMA, Organic, Kosher, Gluten-Free, and other regulatory programs. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in a Quality and Food Safety role within food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of SQF, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, and PCQI standards. Experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections. Demonstrated leadership and effective cross-functional communication skills. A hands-on approach with the ability to influence culture and behavior across the organization. What's Offered Competitive market salary ranging from $100k to $120k. Comprehensive benefits package.
