Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures is seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on Assistant Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead daily operations, perform maintenance on our adventure park courses, and deliver training that keeps our staff confident and our guests safe.This is not a desk job-it's a dynamic, physical, and fun leadership role in a one-of-a-kind environment. You'll assist in overseeing an amazing team, get your hands dirty maintaining ropes courses and zip lines, and play a critical role in shaping the experience for guests of all ages.Key Responsibilities:Follow ACCT and NYSDOL standards and regulationsAssist to supervise daily operations of the Aerial Adventure Park, Zipline Canopy Tour, Kids Adventure Park, Mobile Park, Climbing Wall and The LaunchAssist to hire, train, and lead seasonal staff with a focus on safety, professionalism, and FUNOversee daily inspections and perform maintenance on all attractions and equipment (harnesses, trolleys, helmets, etc.)Assist in staff training sessions in operations, safety, rescue, and guest engagementAssist with park construction and off-season maintenance projectsOperate reservation systems and other park software toolsJump in as needed to support any park role-be it harnessing guests, guiding tours, or working the welcome deskFoster a culture of positivity, outdoor adventure, and safetyRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:1-3 years of supervisory experience in an outdoor, recreational, or similar settingCarpentry/construction skills and comfort working at heights (up to 60 feet)Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead by exampleACCT certification or prior adventure park experienceHigh energy, hands-on attitude, and a love for the outdoorsMust be able to lift 50 lbs. and pass a physical fitness testComfortable standing outside in all weather conditions for long periodsMust be or become certified in First Aid and CPRTech-savvy enough to operate reservation platforms and basic reportingWhy Work Here?A tight-knit, supportive team that works hard and has fun doing itOpportunities for professional development and industry certificationsEvery day is different-one minute you're tightening a cable, the next you're cheering on a guestYou'll spend your summer in the trees, not behind a screenReady to Lead an Unforgettable Season?Send your resume and a short letter of interest with qualifications to employment@
