Limited seasonal housing is available for qualified candidates.About the Role Salt Wharf Restaurant, located on the harbor in Camden, Maine, is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our professional kitchen team for the 2026 season. Salt Wharf is a waterfront, seafood-focused restaurant that highlights local vendors and seasonal ingredients throughout the year. Positions are available in both our Dining Room Kitchen and Rooftop Kitchen. We are looking for cooks who take pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork, and who thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. Key Responsibilities Execution & Quality Execute dishes accurately and efficiently according to Salt Wharf’s standards and recipes Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail on every plate/ Maintain organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards on your station at all times Prep & Service Assist with daily prep, service execution, and end-of-day breakdown Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistent quality Maintain professionalism and composure during high-volume service Safety & Operations Follow all proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Support inventory management by minimizing waste and communicating product needs Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout each shift What We’re Looking For Previous line cook experience preferred, but motivated candidates with strong foundational skills will be considered Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Reliable, punctual, and adaptable Willingness to learn and take direction Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required What You’ll Get Competitive seasonal pay based on experience A professional, respectful kitchen culture Exposure to a seasonal, locally focused seafood program Opportunities for growth within the kitchen Staff meals and employee dining benefits More detail about Salt Wharf, please visit
