Adecco has openings in the Calvery City, KY area for a Logistics Coordinator! EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (IF ANY): GED or dipoma SCHEDULE (DAYS OF THE WEEK): Mon-Fri SHIFT (HOURS): 7am-3:30 pm · **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** · Coordinate all bulk (tank wagon and rail car) receipts and shipments · Tender loads utilizing Ashland's TMS (Transportation Management System) · Maintain and coordinate shipping schedule · Prepare Bills of Ladings · Print export, domestic and customer specific labels · Use SAP to confirm shipments and receive raw materials · Assist with purchase orders, receiving, etc. · Weekends are required as needed **In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:** · A minimum of a High School diploma · 1-3 years in supporting shipping · 49CFR, IATA and IMDG certifications, or be able to obtain · Must be highly proficient in the use of computers: email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint · Must be highly organized and self-motivated · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills · Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to multi-task **The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:** · SAP experience, SAP & Accounting practices is highly desirable · Microsoft products, excel, and word **PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS** There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, climb stairs, sit, reach, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear and see. The incumbent may occasionally be required to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the workday. It may also be required to operate a company vehicle on company business. The incumbent will be required to utilize and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required to perform his/her duties within the manufacturing area including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, respirator, FRC clothing and other PPE as determined to protect the individual. The Logistics Coordinator must demonstrate commitment to zero incidents and injuries in the workplace and beyond. The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during site emergencies and respond appropriately as directed by the Site Emergency Director and be capable of evacuating the manufacturing process areas in a timely manner should an emergency arise. The incumbent must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours at a 24-hour, 365-day operation. Incumbent must have demonstrated productivity and effectiveness in a teamwork environment and must have demonstrated competency and willingness to adapt to change. Plans, schedules the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to shipments. Executes/coordinates shipping schedule while working in conjunction with the Shipping Foreman for the best use of personnel Including but not limited to: · Tenders' shipments in Transportation Management System · Creates and maintains the daily shipping schedule · Investigate issues that arise with carriers. · Utilize 3rd party websites/email/phone to schedule customer preferred carriers · Prepares all export and domestic Bills of Lading in SAP · Post Goods Issues all shipments in SAP **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $22.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
